Head Psychotherapist.
After University, I went on to start my own sport training business tailored to youth and young adults with mental health issues, such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and coping/behavioural issues. During my time as an athlete and trainer, I worked alongside Team Canada members to co-facilitate mental wellbeing workshops around the country. I'm educated and empathetic to diverse cultures and members of the LGBTQ2S+ community.
I combine techniques from Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and several other modalities, in order to best treat my clients needs. I work with individuals from all walks of life and I put my heart and soul into working with my clients to achieve their goals. I work with individuals who are experiencing crisis situations, as well as those who are focused on improving or maintaining aspects of their life.
Nicole Dianne Court (RP-Q)
Owner and Head Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Along with being a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying), I am a yogi and personal trainer with an accepting, free-spirited approach to life. I have a passion for helping others navigate through this journey of life and achieve their mental, physical, and professional goals. I take a mind+body approach to therapeutic treatment. In order to provide a comprehensive mind+body treatmentI provide options for psychotherapy, physical movement/fitness, and a combination of both. I have a passion for working with athletes, the neurodivergent population, as well as anyone looking to improve their mental health and well-being using a combination of mind and body holistic treatment
I know how difficult it can be to manage the endless flow of tasks, requirements, and expectations life throws at us. As a former semi-professional and NCAA hockey player, I have first hand experience learning how much of a mental toll a highly demanding lifestyle can take on both players and parents. I understand the impact that mental health can have on our dreams and aspirations, and I use this knowledge in my counseling work.
I use a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic approach.
